NAKED SPACE
2023-NOW
nakedspace.online
Barcelona, Spain

Founded and led by Amber, NAKED SPACE is a collective of multidimensional creatives built on the founding logic of equivalence—migrating across contexts and shaping empathy between humanity and spatiality. Under her direction, it moves as an open boundary, navigating tangible creativity through modes of art, design, and culture in the public and social realm.

Amber’s vision holds installations, gestures, texts, bodies, images, and disappearances. She proposes a space without fixed physical form—revolutionary yet gentle, deeply interconnected and culturally attuned. What she builds is not only structure, but condition: an environment where creativity, empathy, and cultural diversity are not just celebrated, but foundational. Through NAKED SPACE, she gathers people to reclaim space—in public, in private, in skin—moving beyond tolerance or representation toward a shared sensitivity and a genuine appreciation for the richness each culture brings to the collective field.

MEMORIAS PARA LLEVAR
Workshop
Event Production
August, 2025
Akasha, Soacial Hub
In collaboration with SOAS University of London and Theca Studio

Memorias Para Llevar is an experimental café where memories of Barcelona become the price of your drink. Join us for a 3-hour workshop where we’ll co-create a living archive of the city—as remembered by you.

Over coffee and conversation, you’ll “pay” for your café with a story of the city.
Each memory becomes part of a communal dataset, a poetic record of how Barcelona is lived, felt, and remembered by its creatives. Together, we’ll explore how these fragments might even train an AI to reimagine the soul of the city.

EDIBLE PLEASURE-ERIKA LUST-LUST SALON
EVENT

May, 2025
La Cultural House

EDIBLE PLEASURE is a sensory menu where food becomes an act of liberation. Inspired by aphrodisiacs and the erotic, feminine world of Erika Lust, each bite is designed to be both nourishing and subversive—pleasure-forward, unapologetically playful, and visually bold.

It’s a soft rebellion served on a plate: flavours, forms, and flowers chosen to awaken presence, spark desire, and affirm female authorship through taste.

OFF MENU ISSUE NO.1 LAUNCH X TIBERI
Recipes From Home
EVENT
Event Production and Menu Design
March,2025
Tiberi Bar

For its first appearance in Barcelona, Off-Menu Magazine brings Issue 01: Recipes From Home to life with a one-night pop-up dinner at Tiberi Bar. Chefs Peng WenBin and Amber Zhang present a menu rooted in off-central Asian flavors, blending shared culinary heritage with the warm, communal spirit of Tiberi.

The evening features a series of small plates—Hunan-style pickles, fried Xiangxi rice cakes, and beef tartare—alongside comforting mains such as steamed pork ribs with fermented tofu, paired with a signature Oolong Tea Highball.

In keeping with Off-Menu’s mission to share the untold stories behind food, this dinner is an edible expression of personal histories, cultural connection, and the pleasures of eating together. First launched in New York, Issue 01 spotlights emerging chefs and their ties to home and culture—stories now shared with the Barcelona audience for the very first time.

CASA MARIA
DOEMSTIC DATA STREAMERS X Ajuntament de L'Hospitalet
PUBLIC INTERVENTION
Installation design and production
2024

Casa Maria is a street intervention addressing how we can better support older generations in maintaining their independence. On one of the main boulevards in the Barcelona suburb of L’Hospitalet, we recreated the interior of a complete apartment in public space—transforming the street into a lived-in, familiar setting.

By bringing the private world of a home into a public thoroughfare, the installation invited passersby to pause, reflect, and talk about how they can care for and connect with older community members who may be living alone. It became both a conversation starter and a quiet reminder that independence and dignity are sustained through collective awareness and action.

Build to Bond is a collective building pro-cess and project, that seeks to unite com-munities and civic society through dy-namic, site-specific, time-based reversible ephemeral installations.

ANIMAL NEST
WE ARE TAKK
PUBLC INTERVENTION
Installation production
2023, FRANCE

Animal Nest is a summer workshop developed for Domaine de Boisbuchet, exploring weaving techniques inspired by the structure and logic of local birds’ nests. Led by architects Mireia Luzárraga and Alejandro Muiño of TAKK, the project translated natural observations into experimental architectural forms, merging craft-based processes with spatial design. The resulting work reflects both the ingenuity of avian construction and the adaptability of human-made structures in a rural context.

INVITING LIFE
EXHIBITION
Academic Research, exhibition design and production
2023, Mies Van de Rohe

Inviting Life explores how time, weather, and living organisms quietly transform architectural materials. Focusing on the travertine slabs of the Barcelona Pavilion, the project welcomes the growth of mosses, lichens, and other organic agents—elements usually removed to preserve the Pavilion’s pristine image. By allowing these natural processes to unfold, the work questions our desire for invariability and invites viewers to see architecture as a living, evolving surface rather than a fixed icon.

CAN GUINEU PUBLIC INTERVENTION
Installation design and production
2023, Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, Barcelona

Can Guineu is a temporary installation conceived for the central courtyard of an abandoned castle, merging two distinct projects into a single spatial intervention. Designed to reanimate a historic ruin, it offers visitors a place of both discovery and rediscovery—where cultural heritage becomes an active setting for new experiences. As visitors move through the space, they are invited to reflect on the coexistence of past and present, and on how architecture can carry traces of both memory and renewal within the same frame.

WASHI PAVILION
PUBLIC INTERVENTION
Installation production
2023, Montpellier, France

Washi Paper Pavilion is an architectural installation presented at the Vives Festival in Montpellier, France, exploring the rarely used potential of paper in architecture. Crafted from recycled washi paper, the pavilion merges digital fabrication with traditional craftsmanship. Its skin is composed of thin, translucent modules formed without glue or binders, creating a fully environmentally friendly structure. The module shapes and their connections were digitally designed for a form impossible to achieve with regular sheets of paper, while custom 3D-printed moulds and joints enabled precise assembly. Each piece required two hours of daily work and 24 hours to dry, resulting in a pavilion that embodies both material innovation and a meticulous handmade process.

AUTHENTIC OR FORGERY
EXHIBITION
Exhibition design and production
2022, FQM, NEW YORK

Authentic or Forgery: How does a Chinese Connoisseur work? is an archival exhibition exploring the connoisseurship of Fangyu Wang (1913–1997), a Chinese calligrapher, collector, linguist, and scholar renowned for his expertise on the painter Bada Shanren (1626–1705).

Together with his wife Sum Wai, Wang assembled the world’s largest private collection of Bada’s works, alongside examples of notable forgeries. Bringing together manuscripts, photographs, and writings, the exhibition invites visitors to consider Wang’s comparative methods of authentication, and to reflect on the tension between originality and imitation in the study of art.

NOTHING BUT RECOLLECTION
EXHIBITION
Exhibition design and production
2022, FQM, NEW YORK
NYC-ARTS Top Five Picks

Nothing but Recollection is a solo exhibition by Hisao Hanafusa (b. 1937), a Japanese-born artist and craftsman whose career in New York has spanned over six decades. Presenting paintings from the 1960s and 1970s alongside recent works, the exhibition offers a retrospective view of Hanafusa’s artistic evolution. It also features his traditional handcraft woodworks, created using an ancient Japanese joinery technique that binds wood without nails or adhesives to achieve a seamless finish. By juxtaposing painting and woodworking, the show reveals Hanafusa’s synthesis of classic elegance and contemporary innovation.
